Description
For sale is your CHOICE of a vintage female straight plug, with various pin connectors. Each part of each plug is made to military specifications, and appears to be new old stock, or used (read each description and see photos). They were found in the Army surplus parts left behind by my late father, who was an Army Signal Corps Radio School instructor during the War, and a radio and television serviceman for much of his life afterwards. Some he may have brought home after the War, and some he may have purchased later from military surplus. Unfortunately I know very little about electronic connectors, but then fortunately, my dad also left behind several Amphenol and Bendix catalogs, which show these parts and explain what the numbers mean. We have also copied the contact pattern from the Bendix catalog, so that you can determine if this plug meets your needs. With that information, and the photos of the parts, hopefully you can tell if these might be the right connectors for you!! On the Variations listings, the number of contacts of each is in parentheses at the beginning. 2) (2 sockets) MS3106A10SL-4S(C) These are new old stock, still in the original Amphenol packages. They are 2-contact circular connectors with silver-plated copper alloy contacts, solid shell and 10SL-4 insert arrangement. 3) (4 sockets) MS3106A16-9SX (C) . These are Amphenol connectors, with 4 pin contacts. 2 contacts use #12AWG wire and 2 contacts use #16AWG wire. These connectors are new old stock, though some are slightly discolored from storage (see photos). The ring has female threads. 4) (4 sockets) AN3106A-16-9S A(C) . This is an Amphenol connector, with 4 pin contacts. 2 contacts use #12AWG wire and 2 contacts use #16AWG wire. This connector is used, with wires still attached. The ring has female threads. 7) MS3106A-28-1S . These are Amphenol connectors, with Cannon cable clamps. They have 9 pin contacts. 3 contacts use #8AWG wire and 6 contacts use #12 wire. They are new old stock. The rings have female threads. 10) 97-3106A-28-1S (shell is mis-marked). This is an Amphenol connector, with a Cannon cable clamp. It has 9 contacts. 3 contacts use #8AWG wire, and 6 contacts use #12AWG wire. It is new old stock, but it appears someone rotated the insert, and the shell number does not match what it is now. The ring has female threads. 14) AN3106-20-7P. This is a female receptacle, but with 8 MALE pins. New old stock, clean. Thanks for taking the time to sort through these items to find the ones you want!! (I have photographed a card with the items that I am listing at this time, so that I can make sure that I don't get these connectors mixed up, as many of them look somewhat alike... at least to a novice.) I'll be listing other connector sets and single connectors from this batch, as well. Check my other listings. I'm always glad to combine shipping!! Put the items in My Cart, DON'T PAY, and request a total. I'll send an invoice with the combined shipping cost. In fact, do that anyway, since I need to list the shipping the same for all the items if I do variations. The 35-shell connector is heavy, but the others are not as heavy. I may be able to reduce the shipping on some of the lighter ones. Let me know how I can help!! I hope that these are connectors that you can use!! Thanks for looking here!! (Radio shelves)
