Description

For sale is your CHOICE of a vintage female right angle socket, with various position connectors. Each part of each socket is made to military specifications, and appears to be new old stock, or used (read each description and see photos). They were found in the Army surplus parts left behind by my late father, who was an Army Signal Corps Radio School instructor during the War, and a radio and television serviceman for much of his life afterwards. Some he may have brought home after the War, and some he may have purchased later from military surplus. Unfortunately I know very little about electronic connectors, but then fortunately, my dad also left behind several Amphenol and Bendix catalogs, which show these parts and explain what the numbers mean. We have also copied the contact pattern from the Bendix catalog, so that you can determine if this plug meets your needs. With that information, and the photos of the parts, hopefully you can tell if these might be the right connectors for you!! On the Variations listings, the number of contacts positions of each is in parentheses at the beginning. A) (2 pins) AN3108B16S-4S (C) . This is an Amphenol connector, with 2 pin sockets, using #16AWG wire. This female connector is used, with wires still connected. This item has a split shell. The ring has female threads. D) ( 5 pins) MS3108A20-14S . This is an Amphenol connector, with 5 pin sockets. 2 contacts use #8AWG wire and 3 contacts use #12AWG wire. This connector is clean, but appears to be used. The ring has female threads. E) (5 pins) MS3108A20-14SW (C) . This is an Amphenol connector, with 5 pin sockets. 2 contacts use #12AWG wire and 1 contact uses #16AWG wire. It comes with a Cannon wire clamp. It appears to be new old stock. The ring has female threads. F) (6 pins) AN3106A-16-9S . This is an Amphenol connector, with 6 pin contacts. 5 contacts use #12AWG wire and 2 contacts use #16AWG wire. It appears to be new old stock. The ring has female threads. H) (24 pins) 973108B-24-28S . This is an Amphenol connector, with an Amphenol cable clamp. It has 24 pin sockets. All contacts use #16AWG wire and 6 contacts use #12 wire. They are new old stock.
