Description
For sale is your CHOICE of a vintage male right angle connector, with various position pins. Each part of each socket is made to military specifications, and appears to be new old stock, or used (read each description and see photos). They were found in the Army surplus parts left behind by my late father, who was an Army Signal Corps Radio School instructor during the War, and a radio and television serviceman for much of his life afterwards. Some he may have brought home after the War, and some he may have purchased later from military surplus. Unfortunately I know very little about electronic connectors, but then fortunately, my dad also left behind several Amphenol and Bendix catalogs, which show these parts and explain what the numbers mean. We have also copied the contact pattern from the Bendix catalog, so that you can determine if this plug meets your needs. With that information, and the photos of the parts, hopefully you can tell if these might be the right connectors for you!! On the Variations listings, the number of contacts positions of each follows the alphabet letter. A) (2 pins) MS3108A-24-9P . This is an Amphenol connector, with 2 pin connections, using #4AWG wire. This male connector appears to be new old stock. The shell appears to be mis-marked, and the number given here is the actual use. This item has a solid shell and a Cannon cable clamp. The ring has female threads. B) (3 pins) AN3108A- 22-6P . This is an Amphenol connector, with 3 pin connections, with 2 pins using #8 AWG wire, and 1 pin using #16 AWG wire. The shell appears to be mis-marked, and the number given here is the actual use. This male connector appears to be new old stock. This item has a solid shell. The ring has female threads. C) (10 pins) AN3108B-18-1P . This is an Amphenol connector, with 10 pin connections. All 10 contacts use #16AWG wire. This is an Amphenol connector, with 19 pin connections. All 19 contacts use #16AWG wire. This connector appears to be new old stock, and is clean, but appears to be stained from storage (see photos). The shell is a split shell, and appears to be mis-marked. The number given here is the actual use. The ring has female threads. Thanks for taking the time to sort through these items to find the ones you want!! (I have photographed a card with the items that I am listing at this time, so that I can make sure that I don't get these connectors mixed up, as many of them look somewhat alike... at least to a novice.) I'll be listing other connector sets and single connectors from this batch, as well. Check my other listings. I'm always glad to combine shipping!! Put the items in My Cart, DON'T PAY, and request a total. I'll send an invoice with the combined shipping cost. In fact, do that anyway, since I need to list the shipping the same for all the items if I do variations. The 35-shell connector is heavy, but the others are not as heavy. I may be able to reduce the shipping on some of the lighter ones. Let me know how I can help!! I hope that these are connectors that you can use!! Thanks for looking here!! (Radio shelves)
