Description
For sale is your choice of a vintage set, straight plug and receptacle, from 10 to 48 contacts. Both parts are made to military specifications. Some appear to be new old stock, and others are obviously used. They were left behind in the Army surplus parts left behind by my late father, who was an Army Signal Corps Radio School instructor during the War, and a radio and television serviceman for much of his life afterwards. Unfortunately I know very little about electronic connectors, but then fortunately, my dad also left behind several Amphenol and Bendix catalogs, which show these parts and explain what the numbers mean. We have also copied the contact patterns from the Bendix catalog, so that you can determine if this plug meets your needs. With that information, and the photos of the parts, hopefully you can tell if these might be the right connectors for you!! (I have numbered the items that I am listing at this time, so that I can make sure that I don't get these connectors mixed up, as many of them look somewhat alike... at least to a novice.) I have listed them by the male connector, but for some of these matched sets, the female receptacle might be a different manufacturer. Read the descriptions carefully. These sets all use #16AWG wire. 5) (26 contacts) The male connector is an Amphenol 3102A28-12P, and the female box-mounting receptacle is an Amphenol AN3106A-28-12S 473 (C). And there is a Cannon cable clamp on the end. These are used, with wires still attached. (The next two are the same, but I listed them separately to show you the photos of the exact item you will receive.) 8) (37 contacts) The connectors are Amphenol, probably AN3106 28-21, though not clearly marked. And there are 2 Cannon cable clamps on the ends. These are used, with wires still attached. 9) (37 contacts) The connector is an Amphenol, probably AN3106 28-21, though not clearly marked. And there are 2 Cannon cable clamps on the ends. These are used, with wires still attached. 12) (48 contacts) These are Amphenol connectors, straight cable set. The male plug is MS3012A-36-10P, and the female receptacle is AN3106A-36-10S (C) (shell is mis-marked). The threaded back shell is missing. This is used, with wires still attached. 13) (17 contacts) These are Amphenol connectors, straight cable set. The male plug is AN3106A 20-29P, and the female receptacle is AN3102A -20-29S. The male plug appears to be new, but the female has a few jumper wires connected. (see photo) 10) (37 contacts) AN3106 28-21, straight cable set. 2 cable clamps, AN3057-16 15) (14 contacts) These are Amphenol connectors, a straight cable set. The male plug insert in 22-19S, and the receptacle is 172-322-19P2. They are new old stock, but the coupling nut is missing. Uses #16 AWG wire. 16) (8 contacts) These are Amphenol connectors, a straight cable set with locknut. It is unmarked, but is probably AN3106-20-7. New old stock, clean, but discolored from age and storage. If you buy more than one of these, I will set this up to only charge shipping for the heaviest one, and include the others for no additional shipping charge. (That should happen automatically.) I hope that these are connectors that you can use!! (I am listing other mil spec connectors from this collection, male and female straight plugs, angle plugs, hex nuts, etc. Check my listings! And I'm always glad to combine shipping. Put your selections in My Cart and request a total. For this listing, I have set the shipping at $10, and additional ones for no additional shipping.) Thanks for looking here!! (H shelves)
